Meet Josh Rappa – Groups & Retreats Coordinator at Camp Crosley
We’re thrilled to welcome back a familiar face—Josh Rappa is returning to Camp Crosley, this time as our Groups and Retreats Coordinator! Josh’s Camp Crosley journey began in 2009 as a camper, and his passion for this place has only grown since. He came back as a staff member during college, serving in various leadership roles over the years—including camp counselor (2021), high-ropes manager (2022), and quality control manager (2023). During that time, he also worked with many of our groups and retreats, laying the foundation for his new role.
Josh recently graduated from Indiana University Northwest with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After teaching high school English in North Carolina, he felt the pull of Camp Crosley once again and made the exciting decision to return—this time full-time.
“I decided to move halfway across the country again to work at Crosley for so many reasons. But I think it can be summed up simply: Excitement. I was so excited for every summer to return as a staff member. I was excited for every group that I had the opportunity to be with (even if it meant that I was pulling all-nighters to work and perform well in college). Crosley is a place where emotions are contagious, and I hope to bring that excitement I feel to everyone here!”
With his deep history at Camp Crosley and infectious enthusiasm, Josh brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and heart to everything he does. We’re lucky to have him leading the way for our groups and retreats!
