Camp Crosley’s Leaders in Training (LIT) program is designed to help sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds develop the kinds of leadership skills and attributes that will allow them to successfully navigate their transition into young adulthood. Because we believe in leadership through service, our LIT program is not designed to be an extra week of summer camp, but an opportunity to serve others and give back to the camp and community that have (hopefully) given our LITs a place to belong. Participants will get a feel for what it’s like to be a counselor here at Camp Crosley by working with younger campers in morning Skill Clinics, assisting with our Day Camp, and, of course, joining in on some of their favorite classic camp activities. In addition to this experience-based learning, LITs will participate in small-group experiences built to help them improve their ability to be a part of a team, professional skills, and leadership — all through a summer camp lens.

We admit 10 “Week A” LITs per session, due to limited space in our LIT-only cabins, and the registration process is first come, first served. Please email grace@campcrosley.org with any questions.
